Where can I find Proxxon 37172 MBS 115/E Micro Band Saw Poor quality, bad design.By Toxa P.The saw comes with the triple-bearing guide (# 28187) so you don't need to order it as an accessory as Amazon recommends. The band saw is very very light and must be bolted to the workbench to do any work. Even though the blade guide goes up to allow for 3" thick material, do not expect to do anything larger than 1/4" brass or aluminum. When I tried to feed 1/2" aluminum bar the saw really struggled and made sad noises. The saw quickly developed blade-tracking problems and more importantly it would refuse to to start without me manually giving the blade-wheels a push. And this is only after a few hours of operation! I tried to adjust and readjust to no avail, The saw just refuses to keep the blade tracking. The table is machined aluminum and is pretty flat, However, the center of the table (where the blade exits) has a 1" square whole covered by red plastic. This cover sits about 1/16" lower than the surface of the table. It tends to catch on whatever you trying to cut.
