The last time we needed 1-3/4" holes, I sent the job out to a fabricator who had a mag drill for the job. It cost me about $75.00 to have 4 holes drilled. Now I can do these large-size holes myself and I save $75.00 each time. The bit works great, even with a cordless drill.
