I wanted to go with the M18 version as I have a lot of other M18 tools, but I got to demo one and decided against it. This grinder has just as much power as my Milwaukee 110 Volt, 6 Amp has. Very quiet operation and the soft start is a nice feature. When you turn it on, it starts a bit slowly rather than trying to jump out of your hand. This has my favorite trigger of any grinder I have ever used, which is a lot of them. This would have been five star, but I have three gripes:1. Battery life is short. Much shorter than I expected, especially for a 28 volt battery. I was expecting much longer run time.2. It's heavy. Really heavy.3. I was quite surprised when I opened the box. All of my other Milwaukee cordless kits have come with two batteries. Not this one. One battery only.
